Work at Leven Avenue is almost complete, the cladding is now going up and render is over the existing brickwork.
Footprint Architects have designed this residential extension to complement the surroundings of Meyrick Park and Talbot Woods conservation area. The concept rational was to sympathetically extend the existing property by using similar materials to the existing. The mass of the extension is minimised by the replacement of the existing flat roof bay window. The extension retains a human scale that is subservient to the main house, avoiding the use of a lean to pitched roof form that would impact on the sight lines to the period house behind.
