who we are

We are Footprint Architects, an award-winning architectural practice based in Bournemouth, Dorset. We are a small team of driven, creative and passionate individuals who pride ourselves on our excellent client relationships.

We design sustainable, people-centred spaces and places across a range of sectors.  Although we are Bournemouth based, we work on projects across the whole of Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and The New Forest

Over the last decade, we have built special education needs schools, leisure centres, low-cost housing, passive house self-builds, new builds and office refurbishments. We also have a 100% successful planning approval record, multiple design awards and long standing client relationships.

Our process is an accumulation of project research, understanding, collaboration, and sustainability. We combine modern technologies and technical solutions with over 30 years of design experience and expertise with the education sector and passive house standards.
