Lucy Parkinson

Architect, ARB

Lucy first joined Footprint Architects in June 2013 as a Part 1 and has now re-joined the team in December 2020 as an Architect after recently qualifying from the University of Bath in 2019.

Lucy has as full range of project experience in all sectors, at all sizes but has a personal passion for public architecture and designing for marginalised communities. She enjoys computer modelling and has project managed and coordinated a number of BIM projects from concept to completion.

Her design inspirations come from a Japanese / Scandinavian ethos for simple but beautiful materials and detailing that promotes positive wellbeing for the users. Lucy qualified from the University of Lincoln with a first class BA(Hons) in 2013 and the from the University of Sheffield with a MArch in 2017 where she was awarded the 'Sir H. K. Stephenson Travelling Studentship in Architecture’ for her thesis research and the ‘Robert Henry Memorial Prize’ for exception skills in photography and film.

Outside of work Lucy captains the local women’s rugby team and also enjoys a geeky board game or Magic the Gathering games night.
