Footprint Architects have been working with the Fitness First group to complete fit-outs to 45 existing clubs.
Working closely with the client throughout, we have delivered a clear company branding design concept that is being implemented to each individual site carefully and cohesively.
Proposals cover the key areas of each club including; the street facing entrance elevations, reception and circulation, as well as specialist activity areas such as freestyle weights, spinning rooms and body and mind studios.
A large number of sites have been completed and we continue to work closely with the specialist fit-out contractors to coordinate and deliver the company vision and branding promptly and successfully.

As well as this, we have developed a concept design for the entrance and corporate wing of Fitness First headquarters in Poole.
The brief was to create a high-end office facility consistent with the Fitness First global brand. The concept developed was the creation of a shared zone for the headquarters and the gym by the integration of a dual entrance.
The large triple height atrium space with a welcoming staircase and a ‘living’ wall make up the new entrance. This space is the converging point of all different uses of the building and therefore the start point for every user. Throughout the interior the offices and workspaces have been developed considering work zones, break out space, views through and around the building, links to the gym and the identity of the Fitness First brand.
